SURFACE PREPARATION
The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed.
APPLICATION
The ruins of the old paint, concrete, plaster etc dirt on the applied surface should be cleaned by mechanical means such as scrubbing wire, spatula, salt etc. Water-soluble substances must be resolved method of washing with water, making steam or chemical treatment. Oil residues, alkali must be removed by solvent washing. Rust on iron surface should be cleaned with the wire brush, sanding or sandblasting method. Applying directly to metal surfaces; Before using paint should be mixed until will be a homogenized mixture in packaging.. The surface must be clean and dry. Application must be made according to application specification on their tag information card. At least 2 hours between the paint layers should be expected. After each application clean the brush and spray mouth with Southwind Rapid Thinner.
SPREADING RATE
For one layer 12–17 m2/kg can be painted.
REDUCTION
For pistol application thinned at rate of %20-%25, for roll and brush application thinned at rate of %10-%15
DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)
Touch Dry: 25-30 minutes,
Holding Dust Dry: 10-15 minutes,
Hard Dry: 15 hours,
Complete Dry: 24 hours.
(Above values are given for 20°C).
FLASH POINT
Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of can in accordance with local authority guidelines.
PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS
Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Dispose of contents to a waste disposal facility in accordance with local/national regulations. Safety data sheet available on request.
STORAGE
The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed tight when not in use. At 10- 35 °C, in its original unopened packaging about 1 year.
