PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & USE

Quick-drying, one component, gloss, alkyd based is a industrial paint. Steel structure and construction equipments, business field where fast drying is important; machinery and equipment, agricultural equipment, business machines and is used as final layer all kinds of industrial materials in order to protect against atmospheric factors.

COMPOSITION (NOMINAL)

Binder: Alkyd resin

SURFACE PREPARATION

The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed.

 

APPLICATION

Primed surfaces or on interval floors will be applied. Surface completely must be dry and must be free from dust, dirt such substances. Air guns are preferred because of the material dries very quickly. Brush and roll is used for only shorthand and retouching jobs. Surface temperature, dew point must be at least 3 °C above.

 

SPREADING RATE

At one layer 9-12 m2 surface can be painted.

 

REDUCTION

With rapid thinner for air spraying application: dilute with 20 – 25% rate, for brush application: dilute with 10 – 15% rate.

 

DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)

Superficial Drying: 10-15 minutes,

Touch Dry: 1-2 hours,

Second Layer Application: After 2 hours,

 Complete Dry: 24 hours.

 (Above values are given for 20°C).

  

CLEANING UP

Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of can in accordance with local authority guidelines.

 

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Dispose of contents to a waste disposal facility in accordance with local/national regulations. Safety data sheet available on request.

 

STORAGE

The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed    tight when not in use. Not to be exposed to direct sunlight.  At 10 – 35 °C temperature in original unopened packaging about 1 year.
